Shin Shin grew alongside our home in Japan, also called Shin Shin.
We’re a French couple living in Hong Kong, with a love of Japan, its craftsmanship and the small rituals that make everyday life feel better. Incense became part of ours, and we wanted to share that feeling with others.
In Japanese, Shin Shin evokes surroundings that are silent and still. It can describe snow falling quietly—a feeling we came to know in Hokkaido. For us, that same stillness lives in incense smoke rising through the air. Our logo brings the two together: falling snow and rising smoke.
